SAC Purpose

The University of Tennessee Student Alumni Council, established in 1974 under the direction of the UTC office of Alumni Affairs, actively supports the following mission objectives:

- To encourage prospective students to attend UTC
- To enhance present student involvement in the university
- To facilitate an active relationship between students and alumni
-To cultivate future alumni involvement from the current student population
-To establish identity through special events, community service and social activities
- To serve as official hosts for university functions
